Residency Cat Jones

Cat Jones was a resident at FoAM in Brussels in February 2013, as part of her Transcontinental Garden Exchange. Cat is investigating the idea of plant sentience and an alternative view of the relationship and communication that exists between humans and plants. During her residency she researched theory and practice of plant communication, and developed series of experiments in communication between humans and plants from different perspectives, including social history, science, domestic gardening and botanic artists of all kinds. Cat perused FoAM's library and met several people from our network,  recorded interviews, video, made photos, soundscapes and conducted a lecture-performance.
