Toyboats

A passing ensemble of musicians from Seattle  serenade a motley crew of movie-star impersonators on a range of on toy and small instruments. Toyboats perform raditional folk songs and movie soundracks, as well as their own creations. At FoAM they were invited to celebrate our three budding European collaborations, where our partner organisations, members and researchers in residence met each other as characters from their favourite movies, or generic movie stars. Toyboats' performance lubricated the conversation, culminating in a melodramatic departure of the resident hissing cockroaches, who - after nearly two years - returned to their care taker Angelo Vermeulen.
