Open Sauces #1 in Tokyo

Olfactory artist Maki Ueda invites us to explore the boundaries of taste and smell in the first ever FoAM Japan event, an Open Sauces smell-and-taste workshop at Fishgrove Gaienmae Office & Kitchen in Tokyo. The evening will begin with a performance making "soup perfume" through distillation, and proceeds to explore the phases of "mushroom soup" - a traditional home-cooked food of Europe - through several dinner courses. Guests can experience a chemical laboratory in gaseous, liquid and solid form, eating, learning, and enjoying the taste of autumn.
