Death and Regenerative Ecology

Death Architecture, Still Life 03 - with David Rademacher, Susanne Duijvestein, Theun Karelse and Robin Beers. During this third Still Life, Theun (FoAM ams) will explore the manifold roles of death in landscapes and regenerative landscape practices. Death among animals, plants and other organisms. Death at the level of the individual, species (endlings) and system. Death as renewal. The enormous controversy that death generates in landscape practices. Death as in lack of life: being surrounded by death in our depleted landscapes. And death as a regenerative force or strategy: helping complexity build up in depleted environments.
