FRICTIONS

FRICTIONS is a programme of administrative research, initiated by FoAM member Kate Rich, through her Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (2024-2027) at the Alpine Community Economies Lab (ACELab), research arm of the small alpine NGO Brave New Alps (IT).

Starting from the spectre of a regulatory environment that holds small scale cultural initiatives back, FRICTIONS investigates the working practices of administration, as means to figure out ways to move in spaces that often feel stuck .
