Art in the Kitchen

Art in the Kitchen (Kunst in de Keuken) is a series of workshops where young and old create artworks using edible materials, cooking technologies and recycling.

The aim of the workshops is to raise awareness about food culture, taste the unexpected, look beyond the understandable and play with what you can find in the kitchen, fridge or vegetable lot of your garden. Combining various artistic practices it’s a fun way to explore creative possibilities, challenge your perceptions and create eye satisfying works. Using food as a metaphor for social and cultural connections with an accent on the participatory processes and shared authorship, these workshops are a great way to experiment, fail and discover new experiences.
